MBJ Airports Limited invites applications for the position of Project Manager
Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible for the achievement of project objectives by planning, scheduling and evaluating project activities. This includes coordinating construction activities with minimal disruption to normal operations as a result of commercial development and day-to-day oversight of facility design construction/ renovation, liaising with tenants, contractors and consultants; monitoring terminal renovations, design and expansion process.
Preferred Profile
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Five (5) years related experience in airport operations and/or commercial and capital construction (major infrastructural upgrade works), three (3) of which should be at the managerial level
- Certification/Training in Project management principles, practices, techniques and methodologies would be an asset
- Sound knowledge of JCAA and ICAO regulations pertaining to airport operations would be an asset
- Excellent knowledge of construction techniques, construction material inspection and testing procedures, methods and techniques
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, general drafting and Microsoft Projects
- Ability to develop budgets, track expenditure, inspect construction sites and determine project progress
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of performance in the related field with strong management skills. Additionally, the candidate must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills, communication skills, time management skills and sound judgment.
